Ultimate Recipe Swap: Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cake

Nothing says "autumn" to me like baked goods made out of pumpkin and loaded with chocolate chips. This recipe was passed on to me by my mother's best friend for over 20 years, and a woman I consider my adopted grandmother. Her house during the holidays was always a magical place! Every year she would bring my mom one of these cakes, and mom would always hide it for as long as she could so that my brothers and I wouldn't eat it all before she had a chance. The cake never lasted long around our house!

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cake
Beat 4 eggs
Add: 1 small can (15 oz.) pumpkin (or ½ large can)
Mix well.

Add:
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 t. baking powder
2 t. baking soda
½ t. salt
1 t. cinnamon
Mix well.

Add: 1 c. chocolate chips and 1 c. chopped nuts
Bake at 350° in a greased & floured Bundt pan for 1 hr. or until done.
(Pan can be sprayed with Pam or floured Pam)

Enjoy!
